Niels completed for me an artwork that a mutual friend had made. The archetype was made of clay that stays soft, and Niels made a cast of transparent epoxy. The artwork should be part of a triptych. It should depict the impact of a drop of water and how it takes shape while splashing. Only the splashing drop came to be. The drop remains magnificent: a paragon of solidified movement. We call it ' a bigger splash' at home.
