The Domtower in the middle of Utrecht has a special place in our hearts. For years we had been running with the idea of producing Domtower miniatures made with real stone of this monument. Unfortunately, obtaining the stone was a difficult task.... In 2022, during the restoration, this finally became possible through an competition. Our design, Domtower figurine "A Piece of Me," won. And because of that, after a long time waiting, we could get to work with this unique material. These pieces of stone had been obtained during the restoration from 2019 to 2024 and, without this contest, would have ended up as level raising material under the highway. A shame to use this special material for this purpose!
