FC Utrecht statue memorial field
About the project
Commissioned by Jelle Geertsma, Reszto manufactured the mold and reproduction of the FC Utrecht memorial statue placed at crematorium Daelwijck .
At a beautiful location a memorial field has been realized at the crematorium. Equipped with bucket seats and the same type of grass from Stadion Galgenwaard, this has become a very beautiful memorial site.
Commissioned by the supporters association of FC Utrecht, artist Jelle Geertsma modelled a sculpture from wax based on a supplied design sketch.
Jelle Geertsma designed a beautiful sculpture depicting a lot of emotion and strength, made with black modeling wax.
From this wax sculpture, Reszto made an accurate mold to make the reproduction in.
The casting is made of a durable and strong resin reinforced with fiberglass and stainless steel.
At this FC Utrecht memorial field, supporters can be given a place to remain committed to this soccer club after life.
