At Reszto in Utrecht, we can recreate your cast iron stair banisters.
Are your cast iron stair banisters no longer available? Are some monumental banisters missing or damaged in your staircase? Or do you just want to give your old stairs a different look?
Reszto can recreate your cast iron stair banisters that have the same constructabilityas solid cast iron or all aluminum stair banisters. The composite ornaments of the bars are molded around a metal bar so they can be incorporated into a supporting structure.
At the moment Reszto has molds / examples of 35 different models. Also a new mold can always be made from a banister supplied by you so that each model can be copied by us. By using these molds we can deliver the replica's quickly. A godsend when a building must be completed and time is running out. You do not have to search for antique building materials all over the world, that saves time AND money!
After painting, the banisters will look exactly the same as your old metal or cast iron models. No difference can be seen between original and reproduction banisters.
